Holiday Packing

The summer holidays are finally here YAAYYYY!!

If you’re lucky enough to be going away, here are some helpful packing tips and advice that you may find useful.

• Check your luggage allowance. All airlines have different weight limits so be sure to check how much you can take. Buy luggage scales to save from expensive charges at the airport.

*Remember to keep space for gifts and souvenirs

• Try the rolling method of packing to keep clothes wrinkle free and maximise space.
• Make a list of the things you need and cross them off as you pack. That way you won't forget anything and can see if you need to buy any last minute bits. Think about your day to day activities and what you might need.
• Pack things in your hand luggage that will keep little ones entertained during long flights. Why not buy them their own personalised backpack to keep toys and books in.

• If you’re going away for a long period you can buy travel detergent to wash and re-wear clothes rather than packing for each day.
• Pack a set of spare clothes in your hand luggage in case your suitcase is lost. If travelling in a group, spread clothes out between suitcases so if a bag is lost everyone still has something to wear.
• Keep toiletries separate to avoid spillage disasters.
• Use zip lock bags to keep chargers, cables and jewellery organised and untangled. Our stickers are great for identifying whose is whose. 

• If you have a budget separate your daily allowance into money bags so you can monitor your spending. Don't carry all your money at once, just to be safe.
• Keep copies of all travel documents and important information with you.
