FAQ
How to attach clothing labels?
There are different ways to attach clothing labels to your clothes. One of the most popular is to sew or iron the label on. With our stickeasy clothing labels, the process is even easier - Simply peel the label from the backing and stick it firmly onto the care label of the garment. It’s so quick and easy that the kids can take charge!
How to remove labels from clothes?
Depending on how the label has been attached to the clothing, there are several ways to remove it. For clothing labels that have been ironed onto the garment, the most common solution is to reheat the label by placing baking paper between the iron and the label and ironing over the top. After a short time you should be able to remove the label. Alternatively, you can use a special vinyl letter dissolvent.
Labels that have been sewed on can be removed by simply unravelling the thread.
How to label children’s clothing?
We recommend you use sew-on, iron-on, or stick-on clothing labels for your child's school uniform. Marker, on the other hand, often fades after a short time and is therefore less suitable for effectively labelling your child's clothing.
Is there a limit to the numbers of letters on a name label?
The letters on the Stick on labels for clothing are made smaller the more letters there are i.e. Tom King will have a larger size lettering than Charles Gregor Macgregor. On the Stick on clothing labels even 30 small letters are still very readable. On the Transfers we don't recommend more than about 20 letters as they can be hard to see clearly once ironed on if too small. On Iron on Labels the letters stay the same size but the tape will be longer for a longer name.
Can your stickers be used in shoes?
Our Stick On Name Labels stay stuck very well in shoes but we recommend you use the Shoe Label Covers over the top of them to protect the lettering for even longer.
