Healthy habits for children and families

We have teamed up with our friends at to bring you some tips to encourage healthy habits this year!

Keep hydrated – Drinking water is the best way to stay hydrated, and as it contains no sugar it does not damage teeth. Our funky Drinking Bottles are a great way to make water more interested and avoiding bottle mix-ups!


Getting your 5-a-day – Getting a range of 5-a-day fruits and vegetables is not always easy with children, but you could try making it fun by creating characters with the food, or using themed containers. Our bento lunchboxes are a great way to make snacking more special with the personalised beautiful themes and icons to choose from.


Prioritise Sleep – Did you know almost 1 in 5 people in the UK aren’t getting enough sleep? Adults need to be getting around 7-9 hours sleep a night or they could experience poor focus, are more likely to suffer from colds and may struggle to manage stress. Creating a regular sleep pattern by going to bed at the same time each night, keeping your bedroom dark and cool and even introducing a sleep aid (a must for restless little ones) are all ways you could improve your sleep!  


Get outdoors – No matter what time of year, getting outside can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing. By being outside, away from technology, you can improve your general mood and reduce stress or anger whilst being more active. Grab those layers (the Hippychick all in one waterproof is a must for puddle jumping) and plan a family adventure around your local park, beach, forest or find your nearest National Trust location!
