Camping is such a favourite childhood memory for many of us. The BBQ’s, bike rides, long summer walks, trips to the beach and sleeping under canvas.
Why not give it a go this summer?
Here’s our favourite campsites:
I have many many great memories staying here as a child. Lots of space to enjoy on the campsite and within the New Forest. I would highly recommend especially for families, all the basic facilities are there and it is certainly great value price wise too.
Again one from my childhood but also revisited in my early twenties too. Beautiful views surround this campsite and there’s so much to see on the Isle of Wight, it is definitely all worth a visit. The campsite has all the amenities and even a pool, and the Isle of Wight has some great attractions like Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, Alum Bay and The Needles.
Osmington Mills has given my family some brilliant holidays over the decades. The campsite is open these days for the May half term and Summer holidays, it is basic and therefore really cheap but it’s location is pretty perfect and a shop is right opposite. Weymouth is 10 minutes away and is one of the UK’s top beaches with so much always going on.
So go and dig out all your camping bits and spend some quality family time together.
Where ever you go, have a great time. Send us your holiday photos to: firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send some Easy2name ID wristbands for our favourite snaps.
