Wat kosten naamstickers en kledinglabels?
Easy2Name name labels and clothing labels typically cost between £6.95 and £10.95 per pack, depending on the type of label, the number of labels included, the material and the selected options.
You'll always see the exact price in the design editor at Step 3, while personalising your labels.

Please note that this refers to the number of packs of a particular product. For example, if one pack contains 42 labels, you adjust the number of packs rather than the number of individual labels.

1. Labels designed for everyday use
Easy2Name labels are made for real everyday life. For lunch boxes that go to school every day, water bottles that regularly go in the dishwasher, coats that are left on coat pegs and PE kits that are washed frequently. But also for nursery items that can easily get mixed up, sports gear that gets plenty of use and care clothing that needs to remain clearly identifiable.
In these everyday situations, a label needs to do more than simply look good. It needs to stay firmly in place, remain easy to read and suit the way the item is used. After all, a label on a water bottle faces very different conditions from a label used on clothing or sports equipment.
That’s why at Easy2Name we make labels that are practical, recognisable and reliable. Labels that help you find belongings, prevent mix-ups and keep things organised at school, nursery, sports, on holiday and in care settings.
2. A carefully selected adhesive
When it comes to name stickers and clothing stickers, people usually look at the front first: the colour, font, icon and name. That makes sense, but technically, a large part of the quality is actually on the back: the adhesive.
For certain self-adhesive label materials, the adhesive can account internally for up to around 70% of the total label material costs. This does not mean that every label has exactly the same cost structure, but it does show just how important the adhesive is to the quality of the finished product.
A self-adhesive label usually consists of a printable material, an adhesive layer and a backing layer that protects the adhesive until use.
The adhesive is therefore far from an afterthought. It determines whether the label sticks properly, is easy to apply and stays in place in the conditions it was designed for.
Why is good adhesive more expensive?
A cheap adhesive often only needs to do one thing: stick for a while. A high-quality adhesive needs to do much more. For labels used every day, the adhesive needs to:
- Adhere well to the right surface;
- Withstand handling and friction;
- Stay in place during normal use;
- Cope with moisture and changes in temperature;
- Be suitable for the material it is applied to;
- Remain reliable after washing or cleaning, depending on the type of label;
- Perform consistently during production and use;
- Be safe for its intended application.
That last point is particularly important to us. Our labels are often used by children, so they need to be carefully tested and suitable for everyday use.
That’s why we don’t cut corners when it comes to adhesive. It’s precisely what makes the difference between a label that starts peeling off after a few uses and one that makes you think later: “Great, it’s still stuck on.”
3. Safe inks and professional printing technology
For our labels, we use HP printing technology and inks that meet our requirements for safety, quality and reliability.
This is important because our labels are often used by children. They are applied to lunch boxes, water bottles, school supplies, clothing, nursery items and products that are handled every day.
That’s why we choose a safe way to print our labels.
The initial investment in a professional HP printer is high. The inks and maintenance required for this printing technology are also more expensive than basic printing solutions. We consciously choose this approach because print quality, colour fastness, reliability and safety are extremely important to us.
You may not notice this immediately when holding a label in your hand, but you will notice it in the quality of the finished product.

4. Production in Europe
Another important part of our pricing is that we produce in Europe. This means we are closer to the production process and can maintain greater control over quality, delivery times and reliability. It also means we work within European standards and expectations regarding production, safety and working conditions.
Producing in Europe is generally more expensive than producing in low-wage countries or far away from the customer. We still choose to do so because we believe it is important that our labels are not only attractive and practical, but also responsibly produced.
Shorter production chains and producing closer to home also help us deliver faster and maintain better control over quality.
We’re committed to super-fast dispatch. Order before 12 noon and your order will be dispatched the same day, so you can receive your products quickly.
Taking good care of the people behind the product
There are people behind every label. People who design, produce, check, pack and dispatch orders, as well as those who help our customers.
We believe it is important that these people are treated well. That means consciously choosing good working conditions, fair processes and a way of producing that we can stand behind.
A low price may seem attractive, but savings often have to be made somewhere in the supply chain. That could be on materials, adhesive, ink, service, quality control or the people making the product.
We want to make labels that are good for our customers and produced responsibly.
We operate in accordance with the Grafimedia Collective Labour Agreement, helping us provide our employees with fair, market-appropriate employment conditions.
5. Clear personalisation
At Easy2Name, you design your labels yourself so they suit your child, their belongings and the situation in which they will be used. You choose the name or text, font, colour, design and, if you like, an icon. You can also choose the size or label set that best suits your needs, whether that’s for school, nursery, sports, holidays or care.
An icon can be particularly useful for younger children, as they can often recognise their own belongings before they can read properly. This makes a water bottle, lunch box, coat or bag easier to recognise and find. At school, nursery and sports clubs, a clear name also helps prevent belongings from getting mixed up and makes it easier to return them to the right owner.
Personalised name labels therefore aren’t just recognisable; they’re practical too. They help keep things organised, are designed for everyday use and make it easier to keep belongings clearly labelled.
6. Product information to help you make the right choice
Not every label is suitable for every application. A clothing label is used differently from a sticker for a lunch box, water bottle, shoe or care item. That’s why at Easy2Name we clearly explain what each product is designed for, how to apply it and what to consider when washing, cleaning and using it every day.
We also explain which materials the label works best on, which temperatures are important and what you can expect during normal use. This helps you choose the right label for your situation and prevents you from accidentally choosing a product that isn’t suitable for the items you want to label.
With clear product information, practical instructions and personal service, we help you make the right choice. This keeps clothing and belongings recognisable, clearly labelled and ready for school, nursery, sports, holidays or care.
7. Fast dispatch
Many orders fit straight through the letterbox, so you usually don’t need to be at home to receive your order.
You’ll always find the latest production and dispatch information on the relevant product page.
Orders placed before 12 noon on working days are dispatched the same day.
8. Personal customer service
You often order labels when you need them quickly: just before school starts, nursery, a holiday, camp or the sports season.
If you have a question, you don’t want unnecessary hassle.
That’s why personal service is also part of what you’re paying for. You can contact Easy2Name if you need help with your order, choosing a product or using your labels.
You can easily get in touch via our contact page.
9. Secure webshop, production and server systems
At Easy2Name, you’re also paying for the secure systems behind your order. You may not see them when you look at a label, but they are important. After all, you enter personal information such as your name, address, email address and the text you want printed on your label. This information needs to be handled carefully.
That’s why we invest in reliable digital systems for our webshop, production and order processing.
This includes a secure webshop where you can place your order, reliable servers that process orders, production systems that correctly transfer your personalised label, secure processing of customer and order data, technical connections between the design editor, payment, production and dispatch, systems that help prevent personalisation and production errors, and ongoing maintenance, updates and checks to keep our webshop reliable.
A personalised label may look simple, but there is a complete digital process behind every order.
You design your label in the editor. Your details, design, payment, product selection and delivery information then need to be processed correctly. The correct file needs to be sent to production, the correct number of labels needs to be produced and your order needs to be dispatched on time.
All of this requires secure and reliable systems.
A cheaper provider may sometimes save money on technology, maintenance, automation or security. We choose not to do that. When you order personalised labels, you should be able to trust that your information is handled carefully and that your order is processed correctly.
That’s why we invest not only in materials, adhesives and inks, but also in the digital infrastructure behind Easy2Name.
A good order doesn’t start when your label is printed. It starts with a webshop that is secure, stable and reliable.
10. Years of experience
Easy2Name has been making name stickers, clothing labels and personalised labels for families, schools, nurseries, sports clubs and care organisations for many years.
That experience is reflected in our product selection, designs, instructions and service.
Why are some name stickers cheaper?
Some name stickers are cheaper because they are simpler to produce or designed for lighter use. For temporary applications, craft supplies or items that are rarely washed or cleaned, a basic name label may sometimes be sufficient. In these cases, the label does not need to withstand intensive use, moisture, friction, washing or the dishwasher to the same extent.
Price differences between name stickers are often due to choices in materials, adhesive, inks, printing technology and finishing. The number of personalisation options, level of quality control, clarity of instructions and after-sales service can also affect the price. Production conditions and where the labels are made may also play a role. A cheaper label is therefore not automatically a bad choice, but it is important to consider what you need the label for.
For school, nursery, sports, holidays and care, name stickers are used every day. They are applied to water bottles, lunch boxes, clothing, shoes, bags and other personal belongings that are frequently taken along, cleaned or washed. In these situations, you want to be able to rely on the label staying firmly in place, remaining easy to read and being safe to use. Particularly when children or people receiving care use the labelled items, it is not just about price, but also about reliability, easy identification and product safety.
That’s why the most important question is not simply why some name stickers are cheaper, but whether they are suitable for the way you intend to use them. A basic label may be perfectly suitable for occasional use. For everyday use, it is better to choose name stickers designed to last longer, remain clearly legible and help prevent belongings from getting lost or mixed up.

So it’s not a case of “cheap is bad”. The real question is:
Do you want the lowest price, or labels designed for intensive everyday use?
Which labels do you need?

Are more expensive name stickers worth it?
Are more expensive name stickers worth it? In our opinion, yes, especially if you’re looking for labels that are used every day and need to stay firmly in place for a long time. A pack of 40 clothing stickers for £8.95 works out at around £0.22 per label. With name stickers starting from £6.95 for 42 labels, you pay around £0.17 per label. For that price, you can clearly label clothing, water bottles, lunch boxes, shoes and other belongings, making them less likely to get lost or accidentally mixed up.
So it’s not just about how much a pack of labels costs. It’s also about what it costs when belongings keep getting lost, labels come off or you have to order again because the quality wasn’t good enough. A good label can help you save not only money, but also time, frustration and hassle. And that’s what often makes high-quality name stickers more than worth it in everyday life.
The hidden costs of cheap labels
Cheap labels may seem attractive, but they can end up costing more if they’re not suitable for how you intend to use them.

Especially when it comes to children, you want their belongings to come home again – and, of course, you want the labels they use to be safe!
