Celebrate this year's May Day with these fun crafts. 1. Flower Crown. You could use real or fake flowers to make your crown, but for a longer lasting one for the children we would recommend getting some fake flowers from Dunelm / The Range or Wilko. Simply affix them onto a hairband or some floristry wire and away you go. We love this from Pinterest:

2. Flower Baskets. Roll up a piece of paper to make a cone. Make some flowers; the most simply way would be to cut out different size circles from coloured card, layer them up biggest to smallest, glue together and stick to a straw on long strip of card. Collect the flowers together and put inside the paper cone.

3. Cupcakes. We love these wonderfully decorated cupcakes on Pinterest. Make your own version, using a basic cupcake recipe and go to town on the royal icing decoration. (You can get flower cutters in Lakeland.)
